James Sabathne

James Sabathne (MA) teaches AP U.S. History and AP World History at Hononegah High School in Rockton, Illinois. He has served as an AP U.S. History reader, tabular array leader, and exam leader since 2001. He sabbatum on the Sat 2 Us History Subject area Test Development Committee from 2008-2011 and the AP U.S. History Exam Development Committee from 2013-2017. He presented at numerous conferences including 5 AP annual meetings, the American Historical Association annual meeting, Best Practices Night at the AP US reading, and the System of American Historians Conference. His publications include Past Forward: Articles from the Journal of American History Volumes I and 2, (Oxford University Press, 2016); Class Planning and Pacing Guide resources for Eric Foner's Requite Me Freedom 3rd Edition, (WW Norton, 2014), and Strive For A 5: Preparing for the AP* Globe History Examination, (Boston, MA: Bedford/St. Martin's, 2013).

Alma Gonzalez
AP Spanish Linguistic communication and Culture for New Teachers in Week 3: July 26-thirty, 2021
Alma L. González has been teaching in public schools for over thirty years. Served equally Department Head of the Foreign Language Section for xviii years. Has served as a Castilian AP Reader for ix years and has served as a Table Leader as well. She has experience in teaching Spanish Language AP and Castilian Literature AP. She has been an offshoot professor and the University of Texas-Brownsville for 10 years and at Gladys Porter High Schoolhouse in Brownsville, TX. For 28 years. This will be her 20th year as a consultant for College Board. Currently works with the Academy of Texas Rio Grande as a office-time lecturer for the department of educational activity.

Ken Keller
AP Human Geography for New Teachers in Week ii: July 19-23, 2021
Kenneth H. Keller is an instructor of Advanced Placement (AP) Human Geography and AP European History at George Walton Comprehensive High Schoolhouse in Marietta, GA. He has taught AP Homo Geography since its inception in 2000-2001. He is currently a question leader for the operational test at the APHG scoring and has also worked in other multiple roles at the reading since 2002. Ken is a past member of the AP Human Geography Test Development Committee (2006-2010). He served as President of the National Council for Geographic Instruction during the twelvemonth 2019-2020. He has been teaching AP Homo Geography weeklong summer institutes and i day workshops for teachers since 2004. He is also a 2004 recipient of a National Council for Geographic Education Distinguished Teaching award. Ken is also By-President of the Connecticut Council of Social Studies.
Ken is one of the co-authors of the new AP Man Geography textbook published by Bedford, Freeman and Worth
Ken is also i of 3 co-founders of iScore5 LLC, an AP exam prep app for smart devices.

Marc Reif
AP Physics ane: Algebra-based for New Teachers in Calendar week iii: July 26-30, 2021
Marc Reif teaches science at Fayetteville Loftier Schoolhouse in Fayetteville, Arkansas. He has been teaching AP Physics for more twenty years and over the terminal, xv or and so years has presented around fifty AP physics workshops. Mr. Reif is an AP Reader, AP item writer, and has contributed to several College Lath publications. In 2016 he was the recipient of the Higher Lath Southwest Region AP Award.

Dixie Ross
AP Calculus AB for New Teachers (Dixie Ross) in Week 3: July 26-30, 2021
Dixie Ross has taught AP Calculus for 32 years in Texas public schools and has trained other AP Calculus teachers for the College Board for 27 years. She has served as a reader and helped to develop materials and resource that are published on AP Cardinal. She has a strong interest in providing admission to advanced mathematics to students who have traditionally been under-represented in those classes.

Carlos Gomez
AP Castilian Language and Culture for Experienced Teachers in Week 2: July 19-23, 2021
Carlos is a native of Colombia. He has been teaching various levels of Spanish, including AP Spanish Language and Civilization and AP Castilian Literature and Civilisation. Withal, AP Spanish Language has been his primary focus for the last 19 years. He taught at Trinity Preparatory Schoolhouse for twelve years, where he was the Globe Languages Department Chair and has been instruction at The Canterbury School of Florida for the past fourteen years, where he is as well the World Languages Department Chair. He has been a grader for the AP Castilian Language Examination for seventeen years, and has acted equally a Table Leader for the last fifteen years. For the past 9 years, he has worked as an Endorsed Castilian Consultant to the Higher Board, leading numerous summer institutes and 1-day workshops across the southeast region. He was also the co-author of "Fast Rail to a 5: Preparing for the AP Castilian Linguistic communication and Culture Examination".
